Earl Miller, business owner, farmer
Mr. Miller was born in Kitchener, Ontario, and attended Clarence High School.
He was the proprietor of the Earl R. Miller Plumbing and Heating Company for many years and retired as a pipefitter for General Motors Power Train Plant in Tonawanda after 28 years.
Mr. Miller especially enjoyed woodworking and farming. He was the owner of Miller’s Hardwoods and during strawberry season, ran Miller’s Berry Farm.
He was a member of the Clarence Center-Akron Mennonite Church and was also a former member of the Clarence Center Fire Company.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Barbara (nee Zawadski); four sons, Earl, Jeff, Todd and Jon; one daughter, Krystal Brown; 15 grandchildren; and one sister, Lucille Vail.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, in the Clarence Center-Akron Mennonite Church, with arrangements made by Childs Funeral Home.
