Intoxicated man, chair removed from roadway

Saturday, July 14

Deputies responded to Clarence Church of Christ on Old Goodrich Road for a report of vandalism. Someone spray painted vulgar images and words on a shed and a picnic table.

A meter reader was bitten by a pit bull on Cameron Drive. The dog control officer will be following up on the incident.

Patrol responded to Oak Lane for a neighbor dispute. A female accused a male neighbor of damaging her lawn mower. Both subjects were advised.

Sunday, July 15 Patrol responded to the Clarence Inn Motel for a report of an intoxicated male who was sitting in the road in a recliner. The subject and his chair were removed from the roadway.

A male reported that someone took cash from his wallet at the Buffalo Athletic Club. He had left his locker unlocked while showering.

A 49-year-old woman and her 25-year-old daughter were arrested for shoplifting at the Eastern Hills Mall. Both the females were charged with petit larceny.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on Rapids Road. An intoxicated female was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was transported to the holding center pending arraignment.

Monday, July 16

Deputies were called to a report of two suspicious males on bikes on Clarence Center Road at 2 a.m. Both were ticketed for underage possession of alcohol with intent to consume and were released to a family member.

A resident of Shimerville Road reported that a vehicle smashed her mailbox sometime during the night. A black side mirror was left at the scene.

A 58-year-old woman from Buffalo was arrested for shoplifting at J. C. Penney’s. The woman was charged with petit larceny and false personation for giving a false name when she was arrested. She was transported to the holding center.

Tuesday, July 17

A 24-year-old female was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle and operating without insurance following a traffic stop at the Eastern Hills Mall. The woman was released on traffic tickets.

A disturbance was reported on Main Street. A male and a female were standing near the road involved in a domestic disturbance. An incident report was completed, and the female was given a ride to another location.

Wednesday, July 18

Patrol responded to Oak Lane for a neighbor dispute. An intoxicated male was pounding on the complainant’s trailer. The male was advised to stop drinking and to go to bed.

A vehicle fire was reported at a residence on County Road. The fire is under investigation.

A resident of Brentwood Drive reported that suspicious persons were going door to door trying to sell things. The subjects had the proper permits.

Thursday, July 19

A 27-year-old woman from Clarence was charged with driving while intoxicated. She had pulled into a parking lot to take a nap at Eastern Hills Mall. The woman failed field sobriety tests and submitted to a breath test. The result of the test was .11 of one percent blood alcohol content.

A resident of Kippen Drive reported that someone had smashed her mailbox.

Friday, July 20

A 911 hang up was reported on Brookfield Lane. It was accidental by the homeowner.

A burglar alarm was reported at a dental office on Transit Road. It had been set off by cleaners.

Deputies responded to a motel on Main Street for a report of a disturbance. A 35-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct. A second male was arrested for obstructing governmental administration and criminal contempt because he violated a stay away order of protection. He was transported to the holding center.
