Toddler Time is a story program for children ages 2 to 3 and takes place at 10:30 a.m. Mondays, Nov. 4, 18 and 25. Preschool Story Time is a program for children ages 3 to 5 and takes place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 12, 19 and 26. Wee Read Story Time for infants 2 to 24 months takes place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 6, 13 and 20. Registration has begun for the Wee Read and Toddler times. Registration for Preschool Story Time opens Nov. 4.
EBooks and eReaders is a hands-on workshop designed to teach library patrons how they can download eBooks from the library’s website, with a focus on the Nook, Kindle and iPad. It takes place from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, and is for ages 17 and up.
*Registration is required for all computer classes.
Library Craft Time
Library Craft Time will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, and is open to children ages 5 to 12. Kids will make fun crafts with youth volunteers. Registration is not required for this free program, but parents are asked to remain in the library.
Flu immunization clinic
Visiting Nursing Association of Western New York will conduct a flu shot clinic at the library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2. The clinic is open to ages 9 and older. Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Discover Shadows — a shadow-themed games and crafts night — will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 and is open to children ages 6 to 10. Registration has begun.
The Lego Club will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, and is open to children ages 5 to 12. Caregivers must remain in the library. Registration begins Nov. 4.
The Clarence Library Bookmarks will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, to discuss this month’s selection: “A Place at the Table” by Susan Rebecca White.
