Clarence Public Library Calendar of Activities

Earth Day

A special Earth Day event at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 19, with Miss Amy, will harness the natural curiosity of the young to teach children the importance of treating the Earth and its creatures with kindness. The day will feature songs, stories and crafts.

The program is designed for children ages 2 to 5, and caregivers must remain with the child during the event. Registration began April 5.

Ride For Roswell

Mitch Flynn, the founder of Ride For Roswell and one of the event’s top all-time fundraisers, will stop by the library for a presentation and question-and-answer session where he will discuss the dramatic growth of the event and how it benefits cancer research and patient care in WNY. The talk will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 16.

Fairy Gardens

This program, presented by the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, will allow participants to create a whimsical habitat for fairy creatures at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 17. Space is limited. The program is open to all ages but children under age 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

HOURS: 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday,
Tuesday and Thursday; 10 a.m.-6
p.m. Wednesday; 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Friday and Saturday; closed Sunday
