Elder Law Day to feature seminars

The Erie County Department of Senior Services and the Center for Elder Law and Justice will host Elder Law Day 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, at the Adam’s Mark Hotel, 120 Church St., Buffalo. The event will feature seminars on legal issues of interest to older adults, caregivers and aging service professionals to assist them in making decisions about their health and long-term-care needs. Kevin Guest Fall Fest & 5K set for Sept. 15

The 2018 Kevin Guest Fall Fest & 5K Fun Run will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Kevin Guest House Campus, 782 Ellicott St., Buffalo. The 5K starts at 4 p.m., with the fun run starting at 4:15 p.m. and the Fall Fest Party kicking off at 8 p.m. The 5K is open for both beginner and seasoned runners. Funds raised at the event will help provide a comfortable and supportive home away from home for patients and families traveling to Buffalo for medical care. Interclub golf teams to play in round robin

The Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, in conjunction with The First Tee of Western New York and the Buffalo District Golf Association, has announced the formation of a First Tee Interclub event for Tuesday, July 3, at the Grover Cleveland Golf Course, 3781 Main St., Buffalo. Teams from more than 30 clubs in the BDGA play in “inter- club” events throughout the golf season, bringing the area’s top junior golfers together in a round-robin format.
