Donors, helpers make post-prom party a success

The Clarence High School post-prom party is a longstanding tradition.

Each year parents plan to make the alcohol- and substance free event a lasting memory. The event is free and open to all seniors and their dates. This year we had 75 percent of the senior class attend. The evening included a DJ, food, large inflatables, games, a photo station, caricature artists, airbrush tattoos, a casino and prizes.

We would like to thank our committee chairs, Marie Harsch, Kim McGrath, Sue Laino, Jennifer Doherty, Gretchen Burden and Marilyn Heximer.

We would also like to thank the more than 80 parent volunteers that evening as well as those who donated desserts and beverages. There are also numerous parents who donated gift cards and made monetary donations throughout the year. We rely solely on fundraising and donations and would also like to thank those who participated in our fundraisers this year.

A special thanks to the local businesses that helped, including: Platinum ($1000) — Clarence Schools Enrichment Foundation, Lackawanna Products Corp., Mighty Taco; Gold ($500) — Clarence High School PTO, Rock Oak LLC.; Silver ($250) — Clarence Contemporary Club, Erie and Niagara Insurance, The Nicholson Group/Merrill Lynch; Bronze ($100) — Buffalo Barre, Clarence Bowling Academy, Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Company, Clarence High School Student Council, Castle Capital Inc., Darien Lake, Dash’s Market, Discover Fitness Redefined, Gerry’s Service Complete Auto Repair, Kabab & Curry, Law Office of Nevin F.
