Contemporary Club sets fall fundraiser

The Clarence Contemporary Club will hold its “Wine, Beer, Tidbits and Friends” fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the Town Park Clubhouse. Tickets are $25 each. There will also be a basket raffle and split club. For information, contact Barb Utter at 741-3208.

Eastgate Market continues season

The Eastgate Farmers Market, located in the Eastgate Plaza on Transit Road, continues its season and will run from 3 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday until Oct. 24. The market will feature train rides and crafts for children, as well as live music.

Charity concert series sets date

A classical music concert will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Clarence Presbyterian Church, 9675 Main St. The concert is part of the Vision Possible Charity Concert Series, supporting the Clarence Community Food Pantry. Donation items are requested as admission to the concert, including laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, paper towels, condiments and canned foods.

Arts and Crafts Society plans show

The Clarence Arts and Crafts Society will hold the 42nd annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 3 and 4, at the Clarence Town Park Clubhouse. The show will feature 50 artisans, and a basket raffle will be held to benefit arts and crafts in Clarence.

United Methodists set for Apple Festival

The Clarence United Methodist Church, 10205 Greiner Road, will celebrate the 34th annual Apple Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at the church. Apple treats and cider will be available, and a Red Cross blood drive, as well as activities for children, will be featured.

Strength training classes offered

Every Body Physical Therapy, 5635 Harris Hill Road, offers 30-minute group strength training classes at 8:15 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and at 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. Weights are provided. Aerobic jazz classes are offered at 9 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and at 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. The cost is $75 for 10 classes or $85 for 20 classes. Our Lady of Peace sets fundraiser

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14 at Our Lady of Peace Church, 10950 Main St. The food will be prepared by Bing’s Catering. The event will feature a 50/50 raffle as well as a basket raffle. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for those ages 10 and under. Reserve your tickets by calling 632-2155, ext. 687. All proceeds benefit the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities.

Holy Name Society sets meat raffle

The Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Peace Church, 10950 Main St., will hold its annual meat raffle at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. Admission is $5 which includes a roast beef sandwich, beer, pop, snacks, and a door prize raffle ticket. For more information, call Luther at 200-9188.
